If you hold a bachelor's degree from a U.S. institution or from an institution in another English-only speaking country, you will receive a waiver of the TOEFL. International applicants are required to have a minimum score of 80 on the internet based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) by the University of Texas at Austin. The average TOEFL score for current Biochemistry graduate students is 104.
